Itinerary

Day 1

Cape Town

Kick off your day with a guided visit to Signal hill, which offers a stunning view of the city, the atlantic ocean and the historic Robben island. Signal Hill holds historical significance for Cape Town. The hill served as a signaling point for ships entering Table Bay during the colonial era. Check in at this gorgeous City Bowl Hotel, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. As evening approaches, savor a delectable dinner at the Life Grand Café, where you can enjoy culinary delights in a picturesque setting.

Day 2

Cape Town

Hot and cold breakfast at the hotel. Today, embark on a exciting Cape Peninsula tour with a guide and witness stunning coastal landscapes. Have a delicious seafood lunch at the renowned Black Marlin restaurant. After lunch get up close to African penguins at Boulders Beach. Explore the charming streets of the quaint little village of Kalk Bay. In the evening, you will be dining at Elgr restaurant, run by a Swedish chef you can expect a slew of fresh flavours and seasonal plant based offerings.

Day 3

Cape Town

Enjoy hot at cold breakfast at the hotel. Explore the Norval Foundation in Steenberg with its stunning views, purpose-built galleries, sculpture garden. Immerse yourself in global art in a nature-inspired setting. heading out to the picturesque Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, where natural beauty awaits. Enjoy lunch and tea at kirstenbosch tea room- Fynkos. In the evening, enjoy dinner at Between us restaurant.

Day 4

Cape Town

Start your day with a refreshing hot and cold breakfast at the hotel. Setting the tone for what's to come. Visit the Oranjezicht food and lifestyle Market. Lunch at your own leisure. In the afternoon go on a guided visit up Table mountain, a vantage point offering stunning panoramic views of Cape town, also one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. Dinner can be enjoyed at your preferred restaurant from our provided recommendations.

Day 5

Cape Town

Start your day with a refreshing hot and cold breakfast at the hotel. Setting the tone for what's to come. immersing yourself in the vibrant culture of the Cape Malay, with a Bo Kaap cooking experience tour, this will be a hands on cooking lesson. Enjoy lunch at the cooking experience.The afternoon is all yours. Explore the diverse shops and boutiques at the lively V&A Waterfront. Dinner can be enjoyed at Bouchon bistro restaurant.

Day 6

Cape Town to Hermanus

Enjoy a hot and cold breakfast at your hotel, then embark on a journey to the heart of the Cape whale route, settle in the town of Hermanus. Check into a boutique hotel. Lunch will be at your own leisure. Thereafter in the afternoon experience a Eco Marine Boat tour or Whale watching tour however the whale watching tour is season dependant and get to witness the great marine life that exists in the area. Enjoy a delectable dinner at the Char’d grill and wine bar restaurant.

Day 7

Hermanus

Enjoy a hot and cold breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy winetasting at Creation wine farm. Creation Wines has just been ranked the world’s fourth-best vineyard to visit and the top wine estate in Africa. Enjoy lunch at Moggs country cookhouse and palate seasonal cuisine made from local produce. Enjoy the next winetasting at Ataraxia wine farm, located in the Hemel-en-aarde valley. Dinner can be enjoyed at your preferred restaurant from our provided recommendations.

Day 8

Hermanus to Stellenbosch

Enjoy a hot and cold breakfast at your hotel. On route to Stellenbosch, you will stop at Babylonstoren which is one of the oldest Cape dutch farms, enjoy their beautiful fruit and vegetable garden and have lunch at the Greenhouse restaurant. Then check in at a beautiful Victorian gem in Stellenbosch where you will be staying for the next 2 nights. Enjoy dinner at the warm and inviting The Fat butcher restaurant.

Day 9

Stellenbosch

Enjoy a hot and cold breakfast the manor. Thereafter visit the Dylan Lewis sculpture garden, walk through the paths and witness beautiful sculpture from one of South Africa’s leading sculpture artist’s. Stop at Tokara wine estate for a wine tasting experience. Head over to Boschendal wine estate and enjoy a picnic lunch and after lunch indulge in a wine tasting experience. Dinner can be enjoyed at your preferred restaurant from our provided recommendations.

Day 10

Stellenbosch to Paternoster

Hot and cold breakfast at the manor. On your way to Paternoster, stop at !Khwa ttu nature reserve and join a San guided tour. Enjoy lunch at their inhouse restaurant serving a variety of delectable dishes. After lunch head to Paternoster and check in at the welcoming Guesthouse, your new coastal haven in Paternoster. In the evening, dinner can be enjoyed at your preferred restaurant from our provided recommendations.

Day 11

Paternoster

Start your day with a organic breakfast buffet at the guesthouse. Begin your day with a guided morning Kayak, the route is easy and geared for the enjoyment and safety of the not so experienced sea farer. Dolphins, seals and whales are quite common to see in this area. Later enjoy winetasting and cheese platters for lunch at the family owned Paternoster wine & tasting lounge. Dinner will be at Voorstrandt restaurant.

Day 12

Paternoster

Start your day with a hot and cold organic breakfast buffet at the guesthouse. Then head out for beer tasting at Paternoster brewery. A family owned micro brewery and enjoy the essence of locally brewed beer. Lunch will be at your own leisure. The rest of the afternoon you have to enjoy at the beach and on your last evening enjoy dinner at Noisy Oyster restaurant, here you will savour exquisite seafood.

Day 13

Paternoster to Cape Town

Start your day with a hot and cold organic breakfast buffet at the guesthouse. Some of us will head out to Cape Town international airport for a flight to Sweden and others will head to the Safari.

ADD-ON OPTION 1

If you want a rich and complete experience, we offer you the possibility to add an optional 2 night Safari stay. The driving distance from Paternoster to the Safari is 500km, approximately 6 hours This Game Reserve is situated along South Africa’s popular Garden Route, 45 minutes from George Airport, the reserve offers a distinctive and luxurious malaria-free nature experience. ADD-ON OPTION 2

With this option you take a domestic flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruit Airport, then your transfer will be waiting for you at Hoedspruit Airport to take you to the Safari lodge. In 1993, the fences between the Timbavati and the Kruger were removed to allow for wildlife migration and this pristine wilderness area became known as the Greater Kruger National Park. This Bushcamp is situated in the heart of the Timbavati, making it a prime destination to visit as it allows you to explore a large portion of the reserve not only in search of wildlife but also to experience the rich diversity that this reserve has to offer. This bushcamp prides itself on a home away from home experience and whilst it is rustic in its authenticity, it is more than comfortable. It is what a safari was and should always be about - connecting with nature rather than simply spending time in nature.
